Free emergency training will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. May 27 at the Houston Senior Center on Grand Avenue.

The “Stop the Bleed” class, presented by members of the Texas County Emergency Response team, will teach best practices for aiding someone in an emergency involving physical injuries.

Those completing the 90-minute class will receive a certificate proving program completion. The class is open to all ages.
