Tammy Jo Keller, of Bucyrus, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at the age of 64. She was born on Jan. 6, 1962, in Providence, Kentucky, to William Harlan Brown and Callie Mae Brown.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Jerry Brown, Judy Alderson, Bobby Brown and Sue Brown; and her beloved granddaughter, Candice Walser.
On April 6, 1983, Tammy married the love of her life, Glenn Daniel Keller Jr. Together they shared 43 wonderful years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, laughter and unwavering devotion to one another. Their home was always a place where family and friends felt welcome, and the love they shared was evident to everyone who knew them.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Glenn; her children, Tim Brown and his wife, Shawna, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Robert Keller and his wife, Crystal, of Success, Missouri; her sister, Rita Keagan of Anthem, Arizona; and her brother, Jimmy Brown and his wife, Tammy, of Providence, Kentucky.
Tammy also leaves behind the greatest treasures of her life — her 14 grandchildren: Makayla Brown, Breanna Brown, Taylor Brown, Aalyah Arbogast, Taylor Arbogast, Sydney Whitman, Austin Keller, Ayden Keller, Bryson Keller, Brennan Keller, John Robertson, Lydia Robertson, Zane Keller and Ava Keller; and her seven great-grandchildren: Jade Walser, Rowan Taylor, Jaxon Moseley, Holland “Gator” Moseley, Kimbrey Spurlin, Kayson Spurlin, and Kinsley Spurlin. She is also lovingly remembered by her bonus family: Jodi Bell, and Brandon and Stephanie Lee.
To know Tammy was to know unconditional love. She loved fiercely, laughed loudly and never hesitated to open her heart or her home to those she cared about. Whether someone needed a warm meal, a listening ear, a hug or simply a reason to smile, Tammy was always there. She had a way of making everyone around her feel like family.
She was known for her unfiltered sense of humor, her generous heart and her ability to find joy in life’s simple moments. Tammy loved music, hotrods, spending time outdoors with family and friends, and never lost her lifelong love of horses. As a young girl, she was an accomplished equestrian, and that passion remained a special part of who she was throughout her life.
Of all the roles she held, none brought her more pride than being a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her world. She celebrated their successes, comforted them through their struggles and loved each of them with her whole heart. More than anything, Tammy wanted the people she loved to know they always had a place where they belonged — with her.
A celebration of Tammy’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Brown Residence (26990 U.S. Route 66), Lebanon, Missouri 65536. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life, share memories and honor the incredible woman whose love shaped so many lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Tammy’s memory, continuing the kindness and generosity she showed throughout her life.
Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, Tammy’s love lives on in the family she cherished, the friends she embraced and the countless lives she touched. She will be remembered every time laughter fills a room, stories are shared around a backyard gathering, a classic hot rod rolls by or horses run across an open field. Her love was her greatest legacy, and it will remain with those who knew her for generations to come. Always remember, in the immortal words of our sweet Tammy Jo, “Sometimes you’ve just gotta blow it out your a**!”
