A new traffic pattern will be in place Tuesday at the Licking School District. (Submitted photo)

Asphalt paving work around the Licking School District campus will require some changes in traffic patterns next week, officials announced.

The City of Licking is paving Maple Street from U.S 63 east to Main Street at Intercounty Electric Cooperative Association on Tuesday.

This will require some adjustments in the morning car line:

  • Come down College Avenue from either direction and turn onto Walker Street. From Walker Street, drivers will turn into the new bus barn gravel lot (the covered bus parking side) to access the normal car line area. (See picture showing traffic pattern)

If by afternoon dismissal asphalt work is still underway, follow the same morning instructions.
