A Licking family lost their home Wednesday in a Maple Street fire, authorities said.

A rekindle occurred early Thursday with area departments assisting Licking when debris reignited. Firefighters were again on the scene for several hours.

A fund to assist the family has been established at Town and Country Bank in Licking.

A community effort also is underway to help the family with clothing. Items can be dropped off Thursday at 101 Route 32 in Licking (at the old McCloy building).

Here is a list of needs and information provided by organizers:

  • Boys’ ages: 10 and 8
  • Girls age: 7
  • Mom and dad: size 2xl
  • Dad jeans: 36×34
  • Zaylee wears size 6/7, shoe size 12; Korbin wears 8, shoe size 1; and Konrad wears 10/12, with shoe size 2.

The family’s older son said he would take care of his needs. (He wears shoe size 13, men’s)
