Members of the Texas County Commission handled several matters during meetings April 8 and 9.
Members:
- Signed a Sexual Assault Awareness Month proclamation for Christos House.
- Commissioner Scott Long attended an RHSOC meeting at South Central Ozark Council of Governments (SCOCOG) on April 10.
- Reviewed current bank statements for the tax maintenance fund.
- Reviewed a report from Brightspeed concerning service in the county.
In other business, commissioners heard from:
- In House Tech concerning IT project updates.
- Glenn McKinney on the historical museum.
- Several individuals with concerns in Upton Township.
- David Scantlin concerning Federal Emergency Management Agency and State Emergency Management Agency projects.
- Individuals concerning unofficial election results.
