The local Masonic lodge will be raffling a $1,000 Bass Pro gift card to support Houston R-1 School District students.
Texas Lodge #177 A.F. & A.M. – located 812 Dooley St. in Houston – will have a booth set up downtown during Emmett Kelly Festival Saturday, April 27 to sell raffle tickets. The organization will continue to sell the tickets throughout the community following the event.
Proceeds are matched by the Grand Lodge of Missouri. The organization is estimating a donation of $4,000 to the school district to cover fees for students who have lost their free and reduced lunch benefits.
300 tickets are available. Tickets cost $10.
