Rolla Tea Party is hosting a second Candidate Forum, planned for Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at 7 p.m. The forum will be at the Phelps County Courthouse multipurpose room, 200 N. Main St., Rolla. This forum will feature candidates for Missouri’s Eighth Congressional District. All candidates have been invited, and will receive identical questions and response times from the moderator. Time limits will be strictly enforced. The forum is free and open to the public, and members of the media are welcome.
Rolla Tea Party is a non-partisan organization representing citizens concerned with the growth of government, level of taxation, and disregard for the Constitution. Over 500 individuals attended each of Rolla Tea Party’s April 2009 and 2010 rallies. Candidate attendance at the June 14 State Legislative Forum was bipartisan.
