Fred and Mary Ann Joehrs would like to invite you to a renewal of their wedding vows and their 50th wedding anniversary celebration at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, at Walnut Grove First Baptist Church. Officiating the service will be Brother Frank Childers.
Fred and Mary Ann were married in 1960 at Key West, Fla., while Fred was serving his country in the Navy.
The Joehrs are the parents of four children, Mark Anthony of Marion, Ind., Sandra Ann of Springfield, Eddie of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Tina Marie of Springfield. They have four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Â
Fred served eight years in the Navy, part of which was during the Cuban Crisis. Afterward, he served as a postal carrier for approximately 26 years in Licking and Houston. He also served as a security guard for Aaron’s Automotive.
Fred and Mary Ann are now enjoying their retirement as snowbirds in Florida and the rest of their time at their lake house.
They request no gifts. However, a card basket will be available.
